With the bustle of modern life and the shortage of time, many women tend to omit meals. Also, it seems logical that deleting the meals helps to reduce the intake of calories they have per day resulting in losing weight.

Although the motivation of omitting meals differs between women, it has many results and effects on your body you will know in this article.

*Losing weight: You may lose some weight, yes, but it has other effects. By depriving yourself from any meal you are resulting in slowing your metabolism, and thus slowing the burning fats’ rate in your body. *Increasing the risk of developing diseases: Not eating regularly weakens your immune system which protects you from diseases as healthy foods in particular work to enhance the immune system so that it will be able to protect you from diseases.

*Suffering from deficiency of vitamins and minerals: The omission of meals will make you eat foods that are rich in fat and other unhealthy foods which lack the vitamins that your body needs and the nutritional elements that are required to provide you with energy. Plus, it will make you gain weight too.

*Affecting your mental ability: The omission of meals does not make you lack energy only, but also it negatively affects your intellectual and mental ability. Also, it will make you unable to think well nor able to do any work that requires significant mental and intellectual effort. In addition, your mood will be sour.
