8 Great Natural Remedies for Annoyingly Stubborn Bad Breath

Bad breath is not that uncommon of a problem. However, we try to fix it as soon as possible, heck we even obsess about it. Because, although it is not dangerous, it is embarrassing and it drives people away. However, what can you do with a really persistent bad breath?

1- Gargle salt. Mix spoonful of salt with water well and gargle it, but don’t swallow it.

2- Make an effective mouthwash your own by mixing half a spoon of ground clove with 3 buds of clove and two cups of boiling water. Let it set for 20 minutes, then cool it, strain it and use it.

3- Hazelnuts can be a healthy snack and a bad breath remedy at the same time. Just munch on hazelnuts slowly until they absorb all the bad odors.

4- Since tea tree oil has antifungal and antiviral properties, it can be a remedy to many things, one of which is bad breath. Pour few drops of tea tree oil on your toothpaste and mouth wash before using them.

5- Maybe bad breath is due to a problem with your digestive system. Charcoal tablets can help you with that. You can have up to 5 grams daily of charcoal. It will purify your stomach and bowls, and remove bad breath reasons.

6- Bad breath can happen because of blocked sinuses. Use an empty eye drops bottle. Fill it with salt solution (about a teaspoon of salt with two cubs of water). Then pour about 10 drops a time inside each nostril and blow your nose well.

7- Dry mouth can be a cause of bad breath. You need lemon acid to stimulate the production of saliva to prevent dry mouth. Eat and suck citrus fruits that contain that acid.

8- Lemon juice can prevent bad odors that happen as a result of eating onions and garlic. Suck on a lemon to get rid of these smells.
