Water plays an important role in our lives and in having a healthy body. It’s the main component of the human body, as it constitutes around 60% of it. Regular consumption of water is very vital, where every cell in the body needs water to function properly, so we have to keep the body well hydrated.

Benefits of water are numerous and endless; it relieves fatigue, improves mood and brain power, helps in digestion , aids weight loss, helps treat kidney stones, regulates body temperature, promotes healthy skin, headaches and much more. It should also be mentioned that water contains zero calories.

The amount of water people need per day varies from one person to another. But studies suggest adults need about three liters of water per day. However this number varies depending on activity level, age, and how much water people are consuming in coffee, tea and juices.

To keep yourself hydrated, Begin by drinking a glass of water as soon as you wake up, and 30 minutes before eating any big meal. Your body needs more water when it is summer time or when you are somewhere hot, more physically active, suffering a fever, or suffering from diarrhea or vomiting.

Some indicators of dehydration are joint pain, stomach aches, ulcers, back pain, lack of energy, confusion, blurred sight, headache or even water retention as the body tries to compensate for the lack of it. To help yourself drink more water you can keep a bottle of water with you in your car, or bag, and on your desk.
