Cartoon Characters are considered by everyone the type of shows everyone could see. Well, it makes sense. After all, if children could see them, who couldn’t, right? However, some Cartoon Characters were made so wrong that they have fallen under the category of “not appropriate for anyone” even if they don’t seem like it. Examples of these Cartoon Characters are in the following lines:
- Power Rangers. I never liked this cartoon, but that was even before I have become aware of why it isn’t inappropriate. To put it simply, the show is racist. The yellow ranger is Asian and the black ranger is Afro-American.. Really? Not just that, but their powers are lacking and unimpressive! To top it off, the pink ranger is a cute blonde (what a surprise) and the white ranger, the white guy is the greatest of them and has the greatest powers!
- Pepe Le Pew cartoon from Looney Tunes. Is there anything better than a cute animal with so much love to share?…Not!. This guy is not looking for a soul mate, just a victim to rape. I don’t know why they made him a skunk. His attitude is enough to make females head for the hills, stench or not.
- Rocko’s Modern Life. What the hell the guy who let this cartoon be produced was smoking when he gave his consent? The dear protagonist is one of the esteemed workers in sex industry. And to make that more obvious, the show is filled to the brim with sex jokes and dirty allusions. I had a hard time picking my jaw from the floor while watching the cartoon.
- Looney Tunes, the episode with Bugs Bunny in drag luring Elmer Fudd. This one episode was disturbing beyond description. The hidden message in the cartoon saying that a girl should have big boobs and should show most of her “leg zone” was aggravatingly disgusting. But Elmer’s reaction that resembled reaching a sexual climax? No, No and No!
- Hey Arnold. How the cartoon went is ok in my book but I couldn’t help but notice a few weird things. The hero is white. The Asian guy wears glasses. The black guy is tall, loves sports and is in sportswear. Stereotype much?
- The Jetsons. I found it really annoying that everyone in the cartoon is just…White! No blacks, Asians or any other race, just white. So what are you telling us? No place for other races in a futuristic Utopia?
