With the end of each decade in life, come all sorts of regrets for things that people did and shouldn’t have done, or didn’t do and should’ve done. These regrets are the source of advices the old give to the young. We cannot exactly call women in their thirties old, but they still have some advices to their younger 20 something sisters, such as:
- Avoid judging other women AT ALL COSTS. Because, believe me sister, you won’t like how karma acts here, and want it or not, Thou shalt be judged. and the circumstances in which you will be judged are plenty.
- Don’t say trash like, “I am young and free, and I don’t need to learn about reproductively, Menstrual cycle, birth control, STDs etc. There will be a time in your life (which will more likely be close considering your age) When taking care and knowing about all these things is very important.
- Avoid waltzing in the sun without a sunscreen. Maybe you will say, “These things don’t grow on trees”. Well, neither does your skin.
- Don’t mock older women for going through plastic surgeries, buying pricy skincare products or wearing makeup, and don’t say things like, “save it for your retirement funds”. Every woman needs to feel beautiful no matter how old she is.
- Get rid of your skinny jeans. They are bad for both your health and your wallet, and you can’t do anything in them.
- Wear a bikini while you could, because unflattering bulges will show at some time, so wear your bikini before they do.
- There is a difference between being nice and pleasant and being a pushover.
