Located at the middle of the Arabian sea, Haji Ali, a mosque and tomb, has one of a kind splendor. Haji Ali was built in 1431 upon the return of the wealthy Muslim merchant, Syed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, from his pilgrimage in Mecca. The imposing white mosque is reachable off the coast of Worli only during times of low tides.
