The hypnotic induction is the way by which your mind can go to sleep. In self-hypnosis, you can do this using a recording and in stage hypnosis, it is usually a more fast rythmed way to ensure that the audience does not lose their interest. It is this 30 seconds of rythmic breathing that allows you to go to your most serene state of mind. This hypnotic induction is always instructed by the hypnosis performer before starting any suggestions.
