10. You wait for your friends to arrange an outing
As simple as this may sound, it tells a lot about you and the way you function in life. You can easily spot many people in your life that you want to see and meet since ages and you just do not. You can easily waste your life in front of machines rather than getting actually engaged in face-to-face communication.
PS: TV, computer, bed, cellphone were not made to be any body’s friend.
9. You do not have plans for next week
I am the type of person who does not like to have everything thoroughly planned out on an accurate schedule, as it totally drives away the randomeness of our life which really suck. However, you should have at least a headlined, non detailed outline of your week. Even going to market to buy your necessary things is a plan but taking a shower is definitely not a plan, it is rather an existential requirement for human to human communication.
8. Your colleagues and friends know how emptily you spend your nights
Do not be the poor guy or girl whom everyone know what a loner s/he is. Everyone wants to know someone who is rather unconventional in his perception of things and in his manner of doing things. Do not do or say something that is not you and does not reflect your nature. You are asked to be your real and true self but in a more attractively intelligent way. Try having different adventures after your normal day at work, something that will not wear you down like going to the movies or playing an instrument. Pick your poison and spice up your life.
7. You do not come up with far future plans
You know when HRs often ask you the same dull question in interviews “where do you see yourself in ten years?”, it is actually for a good reason. To have a life means having an intention behind everything you do and every move you make. Honestly, I will not hire anyone who think working for something is pointless. The right way to go is to set plans and change them along the way, it proves you are a dreamer!
6. You always hear the ‘sorry, I’m too busy’ excuse
The way your family, friends, acquaintances tell you they are too busy to meet with you or to do anything with you is just their polite way to tell you “Have a f****** life!”. You know, it is like when you meet someone you knew in school and you tell him that you want to meet him again. He then asks you when? And you end up saying that maybe you will be free in a week time as you have loads of work that have to be done. Odds are, you are telling yourself that one time is more than enough for you!.
5. Your boy/girl friend is telling you that you call too much
Everyone loves to have a free space of all the people he knows. If you are told that you call too much, it means there is not enough new things to tell and you are not missed yet. You would have to have other activities to keep you busy!
4. You do not find anything to do in your spare time
Calling your friends to talk is not a hobby by all means. You have to have a hobby, to have some “me” time. You must be able to spend more than an hour by yourself.
3. You do not have a job
Having a job is not only about money or independence, it also keeps your mind functioning primely as it is asked to perform certain tasks daily. It is more of an exercise and you will not even notice it, but you are building life experience more than you can ever imagine.
2. You do not have accomplishments
If you found yourself unable to name 10 accomplishments in your week, then you are not doing enough in your life. To live you have to perform some activities, it is a survivng must. But to accomplish, you have to perform hundreds of activities and they are all optional and need a will to choose
1. You do not know what type of person you are
Getting to know yourself better is a major reason behind most of the activities that we undergo. You are not a valuable person till you start knowing what you want, what you are capable of and what you mean to the world and to yourself.
