SOME TIPS TO LIGHTEN YOUR SKIN NATURALLY

Overexposure to the sun causes dull and dark skin, and there are other causes like stress, pollution, dry skin, medical condition and bad lifestyle choices. The market is full of skin- lightening lotions and creams, but these are chemical- based products and can ultimately harm your skin, not to mention most of these products are expensive. It is better to use natural remedies that will lighten and brighten your skin effectively.

Among the top ways to lighten your skin naturally is by using yogurt. Yogurt has many good nutrients for skin, and it has bleaching properties due to its lactic acid content.

Rub plain yogurt gently onto your skin and leave it for few minutes, then use lukewarm water to wash it off. If you do this once daily for several weeks, you will notice a considerable change in your complexion.

You can also mix half tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of yogurt and apply the mixture on your face and leave it for about 15 minutes, then wash it off with water. To improve your skin tone, do this on a daily basis. You can also make a thick paste by adding some oatmeal and little lemon juice to yogurt and apply it on your face as a mask.

Oranges are rich in vitamin C that is very important for skin care, and they can lighten your skin due to their bleaching properties. Regular consumption of fresh orange juice is found to improve the overall texture of the skin. To lighten your skin, combine a pinch of powdered turmeric with two tablespoons of orange juice, and apply it on your face before going to bed for 20 minutes; then wash it off.

You can as well mix one tablespoon of plain yogurt with one tablespoon of powdered orange peels. Leave this paste on your skin for 15 minutes, and wash it off with water. Doing this once or twice a week will help lighten spots on your face.
