Everyone either had an enemy or knew a bully while growing up; some would tell you that they became friends in the end. Find out why that person is your enemy – did you do something wrong to him/ her or a close friend of theirs? If so, you better apologize even if you feel it is not completely your fault.
Find ways to lighten your anger towards the person, and be creative on how to get close to them. If you did not cause the enmity by your actions, be forgiving and make up your mind to be the bigger person seeking friendship.
If you do not know already, find out why your enemy is mad with you. Try to understand their perspective and talk it over with them to form a better bond. Do not be afraid of what your enemy thinks of you, and view him/ her as just a person in need of much persuasion that you can do with kindness and determination.
Everything should fall into place as long as you are on more level terms, and as time passes you and your enemy can become at least descent friends.
You can get to know the reasons why your enemy does not like you and their true personality by talking to some of their friends. It will be easier to become friends with your enemy by becoming friends with their friends. Whenever you are around the person, smile and be nice; everyone appreciates a smile even enemies.
If you always get your head down when you walk past them, this does not help. Be brave and talk to your enemy about things they like, no one knows, you may have something in common. Tell your enemy you want to resolve the issues you have together and suggest that the two of you start over.
