Actually, it is the little things that accumulate into the bigger picture; success is always about a series of tiny actions done with care, and as they say “Little things make big things happen”. Making time limits is a little habit that can shorten your way to success; make a time limit for every task you have to do.
Setting a time limit can force you to be more productive and effective, and at the end of the day you will be left with much more spare time. Decide how much time you will spend on checking your email and follow this practice for everything else.
Use your smartphone for calling; it seems funny but we get busy using all functions of our smartphones and we forget to call people and talk to them. The most effective way to interact with people is speaking in person, so forget emails or SMS’s and pick up the phone to talk to them.
Spend 30 minutes of your day in doing sports – fitness, jogging or any other physical activity; just 30 minutes a day can make your mind fresh and your body fit. Take care of your body because it is the only place you have to live in, and remember that success has no meaning if you do not feel well.
Make positive affirmations all the time such as “I am great, I am on my way to success”. This will raise your spirits when you are tired or when things are not as you wish them to be. Repeat your affirmations constantly till they are deeply rooted in your subconscious.
Finally, be grateful for all the opportunities you have; keep in your mind that success comes only to people who are grateful.
