5 Remarkable Ways to Lose Weight by Breathing

Breathe by Alternating Nostrils for Cleansing

1. Sit straightly on a comfortable seat and put your left hand on your left knee.
2. Bring your right hand to your face so that the index and the middle finger are placed between your eyebrows. Put your thumb on your right nostril and your ring finger close to your left nostril.
3. Close your right nostril by pressing your thumb against it then breathe out all the air in your lungs through your left nostril. Now inhale deeply through the left nostril.
4. Stop pressing your right nostril, and then use your ring finger to press on your left nostril and repeat what you have done in step 3.
5. Repeat the third and forth steps from five to seven times while seated comfortably.

Tone Your Core with Vacuum Breathing

1. Stand on your knees then place your hands on the floor.
2. Breathe out all the air from your lungs as you pull your belly in.
3. Hold your breath and make your lungs expand without air while trying to suck your stomach to your spine.
4. Stay in this state for 10 seconds.
5. Inhale slowly. Then repeat the whole procedure for 5 minutes daily.

Breathe Deeply to Relax

1. Sit up, stand up or lie down but make sure that your spine is straight.
2. Empty your lungs from air.
3. Breathe in through your nose slowly for six counts.
4. Hold your breath for another six counts.
5. Breathe out slowly for six counts. Readjust your position if you find yourself slouching while exhaling.
6. Repeat this 10 times to release stress or before sleeping.

Enhancing Metabolism Breath

1. Sit upright on your knees or on a comfortable seat and put your fists on the center of your core. This position will help you to make your core stay contracted.
2. Empty your lungs from air.
3. Breathe in through your nose slowly for six counts.
4. Press your lips together and exhale out short but powerful breathes. Do not breathe in during these exhalations because there forces will bring air back inside your lungs naturally. Blow from 50 to 100 times while increasing the number of exhales step by step.
5. Force out all the air in your lungs by the last exhale and hold for a count.

Energetic Deep Breathing

1. Breathe out all the air from your lungs.
2. Breathe in through your nose slowly for until your lungs become completely filled with air then take one more breath.
3. Hold your breath from eight to twelve counts.
4. Exhale slowly from your mouth with your lips pursed to ensure that you don’t exhale all the air at once. When you feel that your lungs are empty of air, breathe out one more exhale.
5. Keep your abdomen and ribcage contracted and tight holding your breath for 8 counts. If this is difficult, hold your breath for fewer counts and work toward 8.
6. Repeat this exercise 10 times for an energy boost in the morning or at any time during the day.
