Being mentally strong is a good trait. It means that you are in good control of your emotions, and that you have the power to adjust your thoughts and behavior to better suit your life and surroundings. Moreover, it means you never do any of the following mistakes.
1- They don’t commit the mistake of dwelling on feelings like regret and self pity. Because these feelings are greatly negative and can stress them out, lessen their energy and hinder their improvement and productivity
2- They learn from their experience, and thus do not repeat the same mistake twice. Everyone makes mistakes, but it takes a wise, mentally-strong person to not
repeat a mistake done before.
3- Giving in for the temptation to say yes to everyone for everything is not a trait of the mentally strong. Not all people appreciate what you do for them, so knowing who to please and when to is a trait of those who are wise and strong.
4- Being bossed around by others is a trait of the mentally strong. It is sane and normal to accept orders from your higher ups, but knowing how to stop others when they try to control you is a sign of inner strength.
5- Envying others for their success is something mentally strong people never do. Envying others for their success and feeling jealous of it means you either don’t acknowledge any success you have achieved in your life, or don’t have any success worth acknowledging, and both are a sign of weakness.
6- Whining about what the world owes you or does to you is something mentally strong people don’t do. If you stumble on an obstacle, would you rather lie face down and cry about it? Or remove it and keep walking? The second option is what mentally strong people will do because life always has obstacles.
