When I was young, I thought that being a father just means getting married and having kids to provide for. It was long after that I realized how difficult being a father is. And although you are committed to this job 24/7 of your time, you are not paid with money for such devotion.
Yet you accept that gladly and still spare no effort at this job in hopes for the greatest reward of all which is the wellbeing of your offspring. To do this great job right, you need great qualities, such as:
1- You really care for what your children care for If they like a new show, you watch it with them. If they like a new videogame, you don’t just buy it, you play it with them as well. You do all of that because you really care for your kids.
2- You do not just carry the responsibility of being a father, but you like it as well. For you this isn’t just a responsibility with all the implications of this word, like being forced to do it, or like it is a burden for you. For you, this is the best time of all and you enjoy it a lot.
3- You encourage your kids to read, and you read to them. Some fathers just get their kids their own TV or a video game console to get rid of their whining and noise. As a great father you don’t do that. You take the time to read to your kids and you enjoy it as well.
4- You like to encourage your kids to not to stifle their imaginative thoughts. On the contrary to other parents who describe their kids imagination as “telling stupid stories” or “making up things”, you describe it as a gift.
