Cooking often involves handling ingredients that have a strong odor. Items like garlic, onion and fish can leave your hands with strong smell that linger long after you’ve finished handling them. 1- Before you try any remedy first opt to wash your hands with regular cold water and soap and check if the result is going to be satisfying enough.

3- Rub your hands with salt. Another gentle, simple and natural way to remove odors from your hands is to rub them with a small amount of salt but mix the salt with a little bit of water to form a paste in order to improve its adhesion.
4- Neutralize the odor on your hands by using lemon and lime juice, you can use the juice without dilution but if you have a sensitive skin it is better to dilute with a small amount of water to avoid the harsh effect on your skin.
5- Rinse Your hands in water mixed with vinegar, vinegar can be very helpful to get you rid of the unpleasant odor, let the air dry the smell of vinegar on your hands, if you couldn’t get rid of the smell then simply wash your hands with soap and water.
6- Wash your hands with antiseptic mouthwash.. Mouthwash can kill the bacteria on your hands that can cause odor.
7- Rubbing coffee beans in your hands may also help you get rid of unpleasant odor.
