1- Fried foods are one of the most prominent reasons for accelerating aging of your skin and the development of wrinkles. These fried foods are a short trip to all sorts of problem that can severely damage your whole body, not o mention your skin. When you try to fry any type of food, the high temperature needed for frying produces free radicals in the fat which leads to a lot of damage to your skin.
2- To make sure your skin stays as youthful, healthy and wrinkle free as long as possible, you need to keep it hydrated. Therefore, you need to avoid foods that that cause the dehydration of your skin, like caffeine and alcohol. These types of food are diuretics that drain up the water in your body as you consume them and produce cortisol which makes aging process and the development of wrinkles faster.
3- Foods that shoots glucose levels in your body through the roof are other types of food you should avoid if you want a healthy beautiful skin. This means sugar, refined carbs and processed sweets (not honey or fruit). They also cause skin problems such as acne which is another skin problem everyone hates.
4- We all know that we need to take almost everything with a pinch of salt to live, but too much salt can do a lot of damage to your skin. It can make it puffy and make your tissues swollen. Foods with too much salt such as pickles and cured meats should be avoided and do not add too much iodized salt to your food.
5- Many people are now aware of the fact that processed foods are fattening (even those used to promote weight loss make you fat on the long run). However, they also cause skin aging because of their high levels of complex salt and sugar.
