The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque

Another masterpiece situated in Brunei’s capital is the must-see Sultan Omar Saifuddin Mosque. This enormous mosque was built in 1958 and was named after Brunei’s 28th sultan. This breathtaking architecture is made with the finest materials from all over the world. For instance, floors, walls and minarets are made of marble; there is also a gold dome and a splendid artificial lagoon.

The Istana Nurul Iman

Muslims of Brunei gather annually in Eid el Fitr in Istana Nurul Iman, the palace in the world to celebrate. The great palace has more than 1700 rooms and 250 rest rooms decorated beautifully. You will find the majestic Istana along the banks of the Brunei river.
