Blackheads can vastly disrupt our look since it often appears right on our nose and cheeks. For starters, blackheads are accumulated pollutants and dead skin in our pores. The trapped oil oxidizes and turns black forming the black dots you see. Fortunately, there are natural and easy ways to get rid of blackheads. It’s recommended to apply the following recipes on daily basis for best results.
Baking Soda : Using baking soda found in almost any grocery store is the easiest most efficient way of getting rid of blackheads. Simply mix baking soda with water forming a thick paste and massage it gently over your pores.
Steaming : Face steaming is probably the fastest natural way of eliminating blackheads. You can do this by boiling a pan of water, remove it off the heat then apply drops of lemon juice. With a towel tenting your face, keep your face over the steam for a good deal of time. Your skin will soften and you can then wash your face.
Lemon Juice : Lemon juice is not only for treating acne, it’s also another natural way of getting rid of blackheads. Its vitamin C content makes it perfect for different skin textures. You can create a natural exfoliating scrub of lemon juice, honey, salt and yoghurt.
Orange Skin : Vitamin C in orange keeps your skin fair and blackhead-free. Keep the orange peel aside after eating an orange and use one peel a day to scrub over your blackheads.
Honey : For any type of skin, a honey mask efficiently hydrates your skin, clears out blackheads and tightens pores. You can also add turmeric to the honey for better results.
Green Tea : Green tea is packed in antioxidants that are capable of repairing skin and exfoliating blackheads. Scrub a paste of green tea and water on blackheads, it’ll rinse the oils and unblock the pores.
