Doesn’t it kill you to come back from work and find that your house has this weird stuffy smell that sticks to it no matter what you do? Things become even worse when you have pets, and you start to fear thinking about what your friends and a family are thinking when they visit your house.
You try to air out the place and get the air freshener sprays but the result is temporary. Here are some easy hacks that can help you with this issue.
1- When buying cleaning products and laundry detergents, do not pick what is cheaper. The pricier the laundry detergents the better are their fragrance. With good detergent brands, you guarantee that whatever you clean will have a nice smell stuck to it for a long time.
2- Invest in some vacuum beads. You don’t know what vacuum beads are? No kidding! They are not usually sold at stores, not even at big ones, and they are only available online. Vacuum beads are beads of concentrated fragrance, and you put them in your vacuum cleaner to make your carpets or whatever it is you vacuum smell nice.
3- Don’t stay where your pets “poop”. In other words, keep your pets out. The hair your pets shed (besides other things) means staining everywhere in your house with their stench. I, for one, am in favor of not having pets, but this is just me. For you, don’t let them stay inside and limit their wandering to the outdoors where it is constantly aired out.
4- Another easy hack is freshening up your place by burning incense. It is probably the oldest trick in the book, but it is a very effective one. Moreover, the fragrant smell of burned incense sticks to fabrics for hours, even days sometimes.
