Blisters are small clusters filled with liquid that develop on the top skin layer. Normally, they are triggered by constant friction that results after long-running, walks, doing the same movements during exercises, or wearing shoes you do not feel relaxed in. Blisters can be very painful.
But, there are several natural products you can use to fight blisters and rush their healing.
Toothpaste is one thing you can use to fight blisters. Toothpaste has baking soda, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and mint, that can speed the drying of blisters and reduce the itchy feeling triggered by the blister. Put some of the toothpaste on the troubled area and leave it for minimum 2 hours. Learn that you should not use toothpaste that has bleach pastes, gels or various colors since they can boost the irritation.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a plant which can help you with treating blisters as well. Aloe Vera has many healing characteristics and is great for soothing problematic skin conditions, such as red blisters on feet. It hydrates the skin and minimizes swelling. Furthermore, it decreases the risks of infection. The aloe vera gel can be used directly over the blister, or combined with oil and vitamin E, and later applied over the blister. Do it 2-3 times every day till the blisters are gone.
3. Apple cider vinegar
The apple cidar vinegar is able to block infections, reduce pain and swelling. Use it directly on the irritated area, and only if you feel some tingling can you dilute the vinegar with some water and apply it on the blistered area with a cotton pad. A different way you can try is mixing a half teaspoon of mashed onions, and a spoon of apple vinegar, then apply it on the irritated area. When the paste becomes dry, wash it off with lukewarm water.
