When we walk outside, we’d prefer it if we were showing the best version of ourselves to others as opposed to a rough model.
However, this is not always so simple.The thing is, showing the best version of yourself to others is easy but, when you return home, it’s actually easier to fall back into your old habits and mistakes. Here are some things you must do in order to change to the best version of yourself.
1. Quit Being Negative
Your mind is wired to take what you state as truth. If you keep telling yourself that you can’t do anything, your brain is going to immediately give in.
The result? You will not do it.On the other hand, If you tell yourself that you can completely do that, your mind will wake up and be ready for the challenge. It will team up with you and encourage you to achieve what it is you wish for.
2. Start Saying No To People.
Is saying No to others a sign that you are being a negative person? Nope!It is time to set some limits by looking after yourself for a difference. To be the best you can possibly be, you require some time for improving. And you can simply get more time when you start saying No to people when you feel like you do not have the time to help.
3. Don’t Criticize Others.
You cannot become the best version of yourself when you spend a lot of time judging people or even just observing them. You are destroying their own self-esteem, and in turn, you are moving to a negative zone and adopting negative points of view. It is a wicked cycle that you must break out of.
